JMS API Lacks Security, Encryption
Now that message-oriented middleware companies are jumping on the Java Message Service API’s bandwagon, programmers should take a moment to consider the security implications of this new specification. The moment will be a short one, as even Sun Microsystems Inc. states in its specification that the first version of the API lacks security and encryption, and that adding such features is left up to individual vendors.
